Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Austin Worner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jerome Powers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Powers is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: We Run This - Missy Elliot. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

22 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jerome Powers!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Robert Twigg and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Worner doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Powers counters with a straight right hand.
Worner changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Powers tries to avoid it but Worner manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Powers to the ground. Powers escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Powers displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Worner.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Austin Worner. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Worner tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Powers defends well and Worner ends up having to push Powers into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Worner fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Powers avoids it really well and circles away.
Worner shoots in for a takedown but Powers shows good takedown defense.
Worner looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Powers is fending him off so far but Worner persists. Nope, Powers circles away and we're back to standing.
Worner fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Austin Worner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Powers closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Powers maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Worner could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Powers has cracked it and Worner is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Powers!

A relieved looking Jerome Powers thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
