The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Robert Twigg and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brito throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Ulrich on the side of the head.
It looks like Carlos Ulrich has been cut.
A punch combination from Brito misses.
Ulrich lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Brito swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Brito lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ulrich circles away quickly and effectively.

Brito scores with a one two! Ulrich had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Brito lands a glancing blow to the side of Ulrich's head.
Brito misses with a wild combination.
Horrible takedown attempt by Ulrich or perhaps it was just good defense by Brito, which made it look bad.
Ulrich will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sloppy strikes from Brito. Those never looked like landing.
Ulrich looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Ulrich is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Brito moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.

Murilo Brito was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
