Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, George Francis and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanders takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Sanders doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Jone counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Sanders thinking.
Sanders takes a head kick and keeps coming.
It looks like Mike Sanders has been cut.
Jone connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Jone scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Jone, right into the meat.
Sanders shoots in but no luck this time.
Sanders will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Jone seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Jack Jone has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike Sanders.
Sanders has his takedown stuffed
and Jone counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Sanders bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jone is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Sanders asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Jone is looking to regain half guard here but Sanders keeps moving and retains side control.
Sanders throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Sanders has an Americana. Jone didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Sanders is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Sanders hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
