Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fedor Emperlianenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sakari Ostermalm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ostermalm has chosen Speedy ja Saku - Hän mies as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Viktor Lagutenko and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Emperlianenko misses with a hook.
Emperlianenko bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
You can see the frustration on Ostermalm's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Ostermalm wants to lay and pray for a moment but Emperlianenko keeps working.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Ostermalm pushes Emperlianenko up against the cage in a clinch.
Ostermalm lands a takedown into guard.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That was a close round but I would say that Fedor Emperlianenko will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Emperlianenko throws a looping overhand right but Ostermalm ducks down to avoid it.
Emperlianenko throws a series of punches but Ostermalm moves out of range.
Emperlianenko throws a hook but Ostermalm blocks it.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Ostermalm.
Ostermalm looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Emperlianenko tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Ostermalm wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Emperlianenko wants to control but Ostermalm postures up.
Emperlianenko is looking for a sweep.
Ostermalm is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Emperlianenko knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Emperlianenko is trying to control Ostermalm's posture but Ostermalm avoids it.

Ostermalm has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Ostermalm shoots in and drives through. Emperlianenko sprawls well.
Emperlianenko cracks Ostermalm with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

and Emperlianenko counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Fedor Emperlianenko overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Emperlianenko wants to pass the guard but Ostermalm is keeping the position.
Ostermalm is looking to sinch up a triangle. Emperlianenko throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Ostermalm's body to avoid the submission. Ostermalm has instead reached around Emperlianenko's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Ostermalm arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
