Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between John MacDougal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jenik Krejza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John MacDougal!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jenik Krejza!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and .




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Krejza throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
It looked like MacDougal was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Krejza dives in and grabs MacDougal's left leg, looking for a takedown. MacDougal pushes down on Krejza's head and hops out.

MacDougal drives through with a takedown into Krejza's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Krejza wants to stand up but MacDougal is controlling him.
MacDougal wants to control from the top but Krejza keeps moving.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Krejza wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and MacDougal manages to pass to side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
MacDougal is looking to take a break and control but Krejza is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

MacDougal is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Krejza sees it coming and defends easily.

MacDougal is working for a submission of some sort.

Krejza kicks MacDougal off and gets back to his feet.

Krejza gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows MacDougal to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Krejza bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in MacDougal's guard.


That's two minutes gone in the round.
Krejza trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Krejza stands and throws MacDougal's legs to the side, diving into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
MacDougal tries to improve position but can't.
Krejza in side control, throwing shots but MacDougal defends.

Krejza wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by MacDougal, who protects the arm well.
MacDougal wants to control but Krejza postures up.
Krejza postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Krejza trying to control the position but MacDougal is working away.
MacDougal struggling a bit here.

MacDougal taking a bit of punishment here - Krejza scoring with strikes.
Krejza misses with an attempted head punch from side control.

Krejza tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Krejza has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Krejza decides to stand back up.
Krejza looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.

MacDougal shoots in and gets a takedown into Krejza's guard.
Krejza wants to improve his position but instead MacDougal has moved into half guard.

Krejza is trying to stand up here but MacDougal is controlling him well.
MacDougal wants to lay and pray for a moment but Krejza keeps working.
Krejza is trying to maintain the position but MacDougal is very close to passing his half guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Krejza is staying active underneath MacDougal, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
MacDougal is just content to waste time from the top position. Krejza takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Jenik Krejza will probably get the nod.

MacDougal might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Krejza stands and throws MacDougal's legs to the side, diving into side control.

MacDougal is looking to regain half guard here but Krejza keeps moving and retains side control.
MacDougal tries to escape but Krejza is in control.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
MacDougal is not content to let Krejza control the position.
MacDougal is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Krejza is controlling him well.
Krejza tries to move to mount but MacDougal blocks the move with his legs.
Krejza is still trying to improve position.

Krejza is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. MacDougal knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
MacDougal stops Krejza from passing to mount.
Krejza wants to control but MacDougal is keeping him busy.
MacDougal takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Krejza works to advance to full mount. MacDougal defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
MacDougal can't escape the position.

Krejza wants to finish this one by submission but MacDougal is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Krejza.
Krejza prevents MacDougal from getting the reversal.

Krejza goes for an armbar but he's not got it… MacDougal turns into him and now he's in Krejza's guard.
Krejza looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Krejza wants to stand and escape but MacDougal is having none of it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jenik Krejza showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!


Krejza tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. MacDougal manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Good leg kick by Krejza there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

MacDougal looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Krejza!

Krejza has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Krejza is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Krejza wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
MacDougal controlling from the full mount.
Krejza tries to hold on but MacDougal postures up.
Krejza might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control MacDougal haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Jenik Krejza is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Krejza holds on, trying desperately to control.

John MacDougal showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Krejza has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
