Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Xue Sheng Jordan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aslak Lappalainen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Xue Sheng Jordan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Aslak Lappalainen! The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Vladimir Khabensky and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lappalainen misses with a wild body shot. Jordan tries to clinch there but Lappalainen circles away.
Lappalainen tries for a takedown but Jordan sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Jordan throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lappalainen. Jordan pushes Lappalainen up against the cage in a clinch. Jordan with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Lappalainen lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Jordan pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Lappalainen misses with an uppercut. Lappalainen moves in looking to clinch but Jordan pushes him off. Lappalainen takes the fight into the clinch. Jordan stalling.
Jordan lands an elbow just above Lappalainen 's eye. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Lappalainen as Jordan tries to tie him up. Jordan breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Jordan tries to clinch but Lappalainen moves away and Lappalainen counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jordan shoots and misses and Lappalainen counters with a right hand to the body. Jordan tries to clinch and Lappalainen counters with an outside leg kick.
Jordan keeps the fight on the outside. Jordan throws a right hand that Lappalainen ducks under and follows up with a left that Lappalainen also avoids with ease. Lappalainen shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Lappalainen throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Lappalainen is trying to control the action in half guard but Jordan is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Lappalainen sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Jordan defending well though. Lappalainen has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Lappalainen controlling his opponent.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jordan is trying to escape the mount.
Lappalainen looking to control and managing it successfully. Lappalainen avoids the attempt from Jordan to control. Lappalainen takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Lappalainen trying to control but Jordan is having none of it.

Despite being in the dominant position, Aslak Lappalainen just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Jordan throws a lazy head kick and Lappalainen counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Jordan wants to stand and escape but Lappalainen is having none of it. Jordan is breathing heavily. Lappalainen slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Lappalainen wants to pass the guard but Jordan is keeping the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Aslak Lappalainen dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Lappalainen shoots for a takedown but Jordan saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Xue Sheng Jordan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jordan throws a leg kick that is checked and Lappalainen counters with a nice double leg into side control. Jordan won't be happy with that. Lappalainen decides to take the fight back to the feet. Lappalainen uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jordan.
Lappalainen misses the shot to the body. Jordan closes the distance but Lappalainen moves to the side and Lappalainen counters with a shoot takedown. Jordan fights it but they end up in guard. Jordan wants to sweep here but Lappalainen controlling him for the moment. Jordan controls Lappalainen momentarily but Lappalainen frees himself. Lappalainen trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jordan wants to sweep but no luck. Jordan pushes Lappalainen off and scrambles back to his feet.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Jordan looks to clinch and Lappalainen counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Lappalainen wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jordan keeps working. Jordan tries to roll over but Lappalainen keeps him under control. Lappalainen wants to free his trapped foot but Jordan is holding on for dear life with his legs. Lappalainen prevents Jordan from standing back up.
Lappalainen wants to pass the guard but Jordan is defending well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lappalainen looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Jordan is refusing to be controlled, as Lappalainen sits in half guard. Lappalainen performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Lappalainen wants to clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lappalainen misses with a body shot.
Jordan moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Jordan tries to clinch and Lappalainen counters with a single leg into guard. Jordan didn't expect that. Lappalainen stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jordan swivels though and keeps the full guard. Lappalainen is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jordan is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Jordan wants to stand but Lappalainen is controlling the position. Jordan looking to hit a scissor sweep but Lappalainen is one step ahead there. Jordan working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Lappalainen. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Lappalainen forces his way into half guard. Lappalainen prevents Jordan from standing back up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Aslak Lappalainen showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Lappalainen drives through and clinches with Jordan against the cage.
Jordan works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Jordan wanted to stand there but Lappalainen had control of the position. Lappalainen not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lappalainen keeping moving, preventing Jordan from controlling successfully. Lappalainen working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jordan doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Lappalainen is tightening it up a little... Jordan has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Jordan reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Jordan taps out! nice BJJ there by Lappalainen!
