Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Michel Roux Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Waz Guishard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Michel Roux Jr has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Michel Roux Jr! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Waz Guishard! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Daniel Bishop and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Roux Jr circles away from the clinch attempt.
Roux Jr shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Guishard sprawls well. Guishard wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Roux Jr gets slowly back to his feet. Guishard tries to counter by closing the distance. Guishard fails with an attempt to clinch.
Roux Jr gets caught flat footed, as Guishard shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Guishard being controlled here momentarily. Guishard trying to control but Roux Jr is working from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Guishard sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Roux Jr's guard. Guishard is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Roux Jr reverses the position - he's now on top in Guishard's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Guishard utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Guishard is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Roux Jr controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Guishard is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Guishard looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Guishard looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Roux Jr is in close to Guishard's body, working some short punches and elbows. Guishard had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Roux Jr defends it easily. Roux Jr with a flurry of punches that miss. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Roux Jr lands a couple of elbows. Roux Jr missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Roux Jr content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Roux Jr has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Guishard has his foot on Roux Jr's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Roux Jr works his way back into a safe position though. Roux Jr postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Roux Jr postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Guishard is looking for a triangle but Roux Jr pushes his legs off easily.
Guishard is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Roux Jr is aware though and is defending well. Guishard not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Guishard working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Roux Jr doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Roux Jr manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Roux Jr seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Guishard really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Roux Jr. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Roux Jr chips away with some ground and pound. Roux Jr drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Roux Jr jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Guishard has momentary wrist control but Roux Jr slips an elbow through the middle. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Guishard can do anything to dispel that myth. Guishard has his foot on Roux Jr's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Roux Jr works his way back into a safe position though. Guishard looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Roux Jr passes into side control.
Roux Jr lands some shots froms side control. Roux Jr is working to tighten his grip on Guishard's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Guishard has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Roux Jr is really squeezing tight and eventually Guishard passes out! Roux Jr breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
