Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tom Segura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ikki De Fenix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). De Fenix is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Killing Inside. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Ikki De Fenix was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Tom Segura! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ikki De Fenix! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Robert Douchet and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Segura shoots for a double leg takedown but De Fenix sprawls well. He's pushed Segura's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. De Fenix lands with an uppercut that bounces Segura off the cage and back into range. Segura ducks under a wild hook from De Fenix. De Fenix misses with a series of wild punches.
Segura moves forwards but De Fenix connects with a nice, crisp jab. Segura fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Segura seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Segura fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging De Fenix to the ground. Segura is now in De Fenix's guard. De Fenix is trying to control the position but Segura postures up. Segura stands and throws De Fenix's legs to the side, diving into side control. Segura is looking to take a break and control but De Fenix is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Segura in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... De Fenix is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Tom Segura! The defeated Ikki De Fenix had this to say: 'When you lose in the CFC is it really a loss ? I'll be back better then ever congrats to my opponent though he was the better man tonight.'.
