Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Timofey Boyko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Darwin France (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boyko comes into the arena with Kamaedzitca - Колазварl blaring out of the sound system. The crowd seem to be enjoying France's choice of entrance music: bring me to life. Darwin France will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

32 - 12 - 0, fighting out of New York, Darwin France! The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Andrew Berry and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! France misses with a head kick.

A left lands for Boyko. Boyko walks into a jab. We've been told by Boyko's head coaches at Gym Beam that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Boyko fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but France is out of range. Boyko motions for France to come forward. Boyko throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. France is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Boyko ducks under a wild hook from France. Boyko tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Boyko looks to land a right hand but France moved out of range. A shot to the liver by Boyko. Beautiful body shot. France fails with a takedown attempt.

France has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. France walks into a jab. Boyko might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. France being controlled here momentarily. France goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Boyko has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for France but great work by Boyko.
