Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Emerson Jorge and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Mays as Dias shoots in.
Mays decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Mays thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Mays gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Mays misses with a two punch combination.
Dias dives in for a single leg takedown but Mays sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
It looked like Mays was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Dias keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Mays's efforts to push away.

Mays escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dias gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Mays has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Mays, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
