Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bob Serget (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Simmons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Serget comes to the cage accompanied by Friends in lower places. Simmons has chosen Sound of MAdness - Shinedown as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The judges for this bout are William Peck, Steve Smith and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Serget dives in and scores a takedown into Simmons's guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Serget accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Serget trying to control the position from guard on top but Simmons is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Simmons trying to keep a closed guard but Serget is proving a slippery customer.
Simmons escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Serget gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Simmons looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Serget is defending well. Simmons quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Serget has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Simmons celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). John Simmons!
