Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Genki Sudo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gil Dos Jaques (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gil Dos Jaques is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Genki Sudo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Gil Dos Jaques! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yuuki Gou and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Some wild striking there from Dos Jaques.
Dos Jaques swats away the attempt to clinch by Sudo. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Dos Jaques!
It looks like Genki Sudo has been cut. Dos Jaques lands the left hand. Sudo shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Dos Jaques pinned against the cage. Dos Jaques gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Nice combo by Dos Jaques! Oh, that's hurt him - Sudo falls to the canvas and Dos Jaques follows him into side control.
Sudo is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Sudo is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Dos Jaques is controlling him well. I wouldn't like to be where Sudo is right now. Dos Jaques decides to stand back up. Sudo takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Dos Jaques throws a right and a left that both miss. Dos Jaques fails with the takedown. Dos Jaques cracks a nice hook into Sudo's ribs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sudo takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Genki Sudo's cut is getting worse. Sudo changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Dos Jaques looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Sudo is breathing heavily. Dos Jaques is trying to improve his position. Dos Jaques tries to escape but Sudo is in control. Dos Jaques takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Dos Jaques can do anything to dispel that myth. Sudo takes a little break here. Dos Jaques wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dos Jaques can't do much from the bottom here.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Dos Jaques throws a right and a left that both miss. Sudo shoots for a double leg takedown but Dos Jaques sprawls well. He's pushed Sudo's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Dos Jaques jabs at Sudo's body. Dos Jaques fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Sudo looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Sudo looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Sudo trying to control but Dos Jaques is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sudo won't allow Dos Jaques to get back to his feet. Sudo sitting in guard here, content to control. Sudo looking to pass the guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Sudo stands up and waves to Dos Jaques to follow him. Sudo throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. No luck for Sudo with that takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Genki Sudo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Dos Jaques closes this distance looking for a takedown but Sudo circles away. Sudo shoots in for a double leg but Dos Jaques sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Sudo pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. A jab lands there for Dos Jaques. Dos Jaques works over Sudo's head and body with a nice combination. Sudo missing with a left hand there. Dos Jaques was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Sudo blocks a head kick by Dos Jaques.
Sudo stuffs the takedown. Sudo looks to score with a jab to the body but Dos Jaques is just out of range. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Sudo looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Dos Jaques lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Dos Jaques shoots in but no luck this time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sudo shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Sudo was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Sudo working for a guillotine from mount but Dos Jaques is in no mood to give up. Sudo fails to take his opponent's back. Dos Jaques is in all sorts of trouble here.
Sudo lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Dos Jaques hang on? Sudo wants to control the pace but Dos Jaques is squirming around nicely. Dos Jaques is trying to escape the mount.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Sudo thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.

Sudo prevents Dos Jaques from getting the reversal. Dos Jaques is controlling an arm, preventing Sudo from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
Dos Jaques's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Dos Jaques really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sudo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Sudo tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Sudo trying to control but he's not successful this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Sudo takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Sudo looking to control but Dos Jaques is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Sudo avoids the attempt from Dos Jaques to control. Dos Jaques is looking to get to half guard. Sudo sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Sudo looking to control but Dos Jaques is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sudo is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Dos Jaques is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Sudo looking to control and managing it successfully.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Genki Sudo just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Dos Jaques throws a right and a left that Sudo avoids nicely. Horrible takedown by Sudo or perhaps it was just good defense by Dos Jaques which made him look bad. Sudo is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Genki Sudo is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Dos Jaques tries to clinch up but Sudo circles away and keeps his distance. A low kick from Sudo is predictable there and Dos Jaques counters with a good low kick that Sudo was not able to check. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Sudo shoots in and drives through. Dos Jaques sprawls well. Dos Jaques moves out of range as Sudo throws a body kick.

That was a close second round but I would say that Genki Sudo will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Genki Sudo's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! And we move into the final round!
Sudo fails with the takedown. Dos Jaques is looking to score with low kicks. Dos Jaques shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Sudo's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dos Jaques seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Sudo has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Dos Jaques can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Dos Jaques wants to pass the guard but Sudo is keeping the position. Dos Jaques trying to control the position from guard on top but Sudo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dos Jaques looking to sit in guard and control but Sudo gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Sudo lands a couple of decent looking shots. Sudo wants to control from the top but Dos Jaques keeps moving. Dos Jaques controls Sudo momentarily but Sudo frees himself. Dos Jaques is wriggling around but Sudo manages to pass to half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Dos Jaques is looking for a sweep. Sudo is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Sudo trying to control the action but Dos Jaques is working from the bottom. Sudo is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Dos Jaques has managed to free his arm - good work. Dos Jaques is looking to get back to full guard here but Sudo has managed to pass to side control instead. Dos Jaques has given up his back here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sudo gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes. Sudo lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Sudo.

Dos Jaques wants to get back to his feet. Sudo is looking to finish with some ground and pound! Dos Jaques looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands. Sudo is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Dos Jaques has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Sudo has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Dos Jaques taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Sudo doesn't care though - he's delighted!
