Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Hordeen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hordeen's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, in this together. Kevin Hordeen has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kevin Hordeen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dave Williams! The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, David Schapiro and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Williams feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Hordeen wants to stand and escape but Williams is having none of it. Hordeen wants to get back to his feet but Williams passes into half guard.
Hordeen is trying to stand up here but Williams is controlling him well. Well, if Williams is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Williams's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Williams moves nicely into side control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hordeen pushes Williams away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Williams gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Williams cracks Hordeen with a big elbow.

Williams lands a nice forearm strike. Williams taking a breather here. Hordeen is pushing Williams's head away, looking to escape. Williams manages to hold on to the position though. Williams controlling the position. Hordeen is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Williams happy to just control the position for now. Williams working the body and head with strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Hordeen's face as Williams controls the position. It looks like Williams might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Hordeen wants to get back to his feet. Williams looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Williams cracks Hordeen with an elbow. That is naaassty. Williams happy to just control the position for now. Hordeen is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Williams lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Hordeen down.
Williams is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Hordeen's shoulder. That is not cool. Williams creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Williams landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. A lull in the action here. Hordeen tries to escape but Williams is in control. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Williams content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Williams cracks Hordeen with a big right hand but Hordeen just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Williams jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Williams shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Hordeen's guard. Hordeen pushes Williams off and scrambles back to his feet.
Williams is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Hordeen. Williams shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Hordeen tries to escape but Williams is in control. Hordeen seems a little lost for a moment, as Williams dominates the positioning. Hordeen is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Dave Williams has got the better of the ground game so far. Williams advances to full mount. Williams controlling from the full mount. Williams with a couple of short strikes. Hordeen wants to try and get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Williams landing strikes, looking to finish! Hordeen trying desperately to get to his feet.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Williams sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Williams looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.

Williams is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Hordeen can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Hordeen wants to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Williams controlling his opponent. Williams putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Williams controlling from the full mount. Williams is continuing to stall. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Williams lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Williams with shots to the head and body - Hordeen looks very uncomfortable down there. Williams lands a couple of good shots and Hordeen has given up his back, trying to escape the position! Williams has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Hordeen is trapped and Williams is scoring with shots to the head and body.
Hordeen is rocked! Williams controlling the position well here. Hordeen rolled but Williams kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

Williams looking to control and managing it successfully. The adventures of Williams the control monster continue. Boring. Williams raining down hammerfists from mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Williams pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Hordeen squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Williams working away from the top, dropping strikes. Hordeen is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Williams controlling from mount. Williams lands a big elbow. Williams tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Williams pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Williams looking to control and managing it successfully. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Kevin Hordeen has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
And that's the end of the fight! Dave Williams comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Williams winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
