Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kelley Hull (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Harper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kelley Hull! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Michael Harper! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Eliza Hachem and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Harper darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Hull trying to control but Harper postures up.
Hull is looking to improve his position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Harper trying to advance position but Hull counters by regaining guard. Harper stands up from guard. Let's bang!
That's one minute gone in the round. Harper throws a left and a right that both miss
and Hull counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Hull. Harper has Hull pressed against the cage, preventing Hull from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Harper is trying to force a seperation but Hull has the dominant position. Harper lands an elbow just above Hull 's eye.
It looks like Kelley Hull has been cut. Hull is trying to force a seperation but Harper has the dominant position. Hull prevents Harper from breaking the clinch. Harper prevents Hull from breaking the clinch. Harper gets control of Hull's arms and successfully pulls guard. Harper will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Harper looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Harper keeping moving, preventing Hull from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hull controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Harper preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Harper looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Hull trying to control but Harper is working from the bottom. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. A jab from Harper finds it's way through Hull's defenses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fight moves into the clinch position. Hull has had enough of the clinch but Harper keeps him there for the moment. Harper gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Hull looking to hit a scissor sweep but Harper is one step ahead there. Hull preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Hull wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hull is trying to keep Harper in close.

Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Hull keeping moving, preventing Harper from controlling successfully.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Harper closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Hull did well to prevent Harper getting side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hull gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Harper to score an easy takedown into full guard. Hull is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Harper looking to pass the guard. Harper is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Harper passes Hull's left leg - he's now in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Harper tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Hull. The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Harper. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Harper is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Harper trying to control the action but Hull is working from the bottom.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Hull shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Harper but Harper pushes him off and we're back to square one. Hull shoots for a takedown but Harper saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Hull changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Harper tries to avoid it but Hull manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Harper to the ground. Harper escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Harper wants to counter the offense by Hull and move into the clinch position. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kelley Hull. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hull shoots for a takedown but Harper saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Harper closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. The strikes coming from Harper are missing the target in this wave of attacks. You can see the frustration on Hull's face as Harper controls the position. Harper's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Harper working away. Harper decides to stand up, so the ref orders Hull to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Harper clinches up against the cage. Hull is looking to break free of the clinch but Harper has double underhooks. Harper gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Hull trying to control here.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Harper blocks the strikes from Hull.

Michael Harper showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Kelley Hull's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Harper tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Hull looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit. Hull tries to close the distance and clinch but Harper swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Hull tries for a takedown but Harper sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Hull doesn't succeed with the takedown and Harper counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Harper wants the takedown. Hull is fighting it off but Harper persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Hull's guard against the cage. Harper has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Harper chips away with some ground and pound. Hull working a defensive guard here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Harper closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Hull's guard. Harper stopping the sweep attempt from Hull. Hull seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Harper wants to control from the top but Hull keeps moving. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Hull looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
And that's the end of the fight! Michael Harper comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Harper has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
