Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, James Kingston!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Alexandre Firmino and Paulo Santos.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kingston closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Kingston thows a huge punch but Griffith dodges it nicely.
Kingston is trying to control. Griffith wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Kingston missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Griffith blocking the ground and pound attempt from Kingston.
Griffith is in trouble now - Kingston has advanced to mount!
Kingston avoids the attempt from Griffith to control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The referee warns Griffith that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Kingston throwing strikes but Griffith recovers to half guard. A much better position.
Kingston missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.

Kingston is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Griffith trying to control from the bottom.
Kingston looks to land a strike but Griffith avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Kingston being controlled here momentarily.
Kingston wants to pass the guard but Griffith is keeping the position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Griffith keeping moving, preventing Kingston from controlling successfully.
Kingston controlling from the top position.
Kingston wants to control from the top but Griffith keeps moving.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Griffith doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Kingston counters with a two punch combo.


Griffith is rocked!
Kingston lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Griffith crumples to the floor! Kingston milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
