Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kobe Romeo Paris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maxwell Rubin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Jeff Smith and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rubin misses the shot to the body.
Paris avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Rubin takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Paris shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Paris swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.

and Paris counters with a nice double leg into guard.
