Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Optimus Prime (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Callum Pagnozzi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Prime fails to land the takedown.
Prime looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Prime swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Prime looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Pagnozzi!
Prime is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Pagnozzi has escaped the position, nice work there.
Prime thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Prime uses his free foot to push down on Pagnozzi's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Pagnozzi.
Pagnozzi is desperately trying to improve his position but Prime has a good base and remains in mount.

Prime wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Prime wants to finish this one by submission but Pagnozzi is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Prime.

Prime goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Pagnozzi turns into him and now he's in Prime's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Prime is stalling here. Pagnozzi is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Prime seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Pagnozzi has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
