PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hugo Wolf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Suu Kii (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Suu Kii!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Chris Edwards and Colin Fotheringham.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kii just misses with a punch to the body.
Suu Kii seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A head kick misses from Kii.

Wolf fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Kii to the ground. Wolf is now in Kii's guard.

Wolf got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kii has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Wolf has managed to get both his arms back between Kii's legs - danger averted.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kii has his foot on Wolf's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Wolf works his way back into a safe position though.
Kii wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Kii is trying to control the position but Wolf postures up.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Kii looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Wolf pushes past his half guard into mount!

It looks like Suu Kii has been cut.

The referee warns Kii that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Kii wants to hold on but Wolf pushes him away.
Kii tries to reverse the position but Wolf maintains control.
Wolf lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Kii! Wolf sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Kii and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!
