Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Brad Norvell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nate Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Brad Norvell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nate Diaz! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Daniel Bishop and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Diaz's corner calls for a 1-2. Diaz obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Diaz bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Norvell's head backwards. Diaz buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Donk. Diaz catches Norvell right on the button with a cross. Diaz lands a body shot.
Diaz lands a nice hook to Norvell's body. Norvell takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Norvell throws a hook to the side of Diaz's head but Diaz sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Norvell moves out of range of the strikes. Diaz connects with a body shot. Diaz jabs Norvell right on the nose. Norvell blinks but takes it well. Diaz cracks Norvell with an open hand slap. Diaz has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Norvell throws a shot from downtown. Diaz moves away and avoids it. Diaz cracks Norvell with a right hand to the side of the head. Diaz avoids the body shot from Norvell.
Nate Diaz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Diaz lands a jab to the head.
Diaz throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
That's one minute gone in the round. Norvell throws the left hand but Diaz avoids the punch easily. A little jabbing left from Diaz on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Norvell takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Norvell needs to keep his hands up - Diaz had a free shot at his head there. Diaz works Norvell's body with a nice hook. Diaz has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Diaz throws a quick inside leg kick. Norvell uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Diaz. Diaz thuds his right hand into Norvell's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Diaz misses with a head kick.
Norvell gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Diaz scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Norvell is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Norvell misses with a body punch
and Diaz counters with a stiff right hand. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Norvell avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Norvell takes a body punch but keeps moving. Norvell fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Diaz dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Nate Diaz is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Norvell throws a right and a left that Diaz avoids nicely. Diaz takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Diaz throws a shot to the body.
Diaz tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Norvell was well out of range. Poor timing from Diaz. Norvell uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Diaz. Norvell shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Diaz lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Norvell misses with a looping right. Diaz clobbers Norvell with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Norvell scores with a three punch combo!
That's three minutes gone in the round. A punch combination from Diaz misses. A big right from Diaz misses. Diaz cracks Norvell with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Good leg kick by Diaz there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Diaz ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Norvell throws a body punch but Diaz moves out of range. Diaz lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Diaz fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Norvell. Nice shot by Diaz. Diaz moves forwards but Norvell connects with a nice, crisp jab. Diaz jabs at Norvell's body. Diaz lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
This has been an exciting period of action! Diaz scores with the left hand. Norvell knows he should have avoided that one. Diaz scores with a jab.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Diaz fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Norvell manages to avoid it. Norvell closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Norvell closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Norvell lands in his opponent's guard. Diaz is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Norvell is aware though and is defending well. Diaz has momentary wrist control but Norvell slips an elbow through the middle. Diaz is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Diaz trying to keep a closed guard but Norvell is proving a slippery customer.
Diaz avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nate Diaz dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Nice defenses there by Norvell. Norvell connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Nate Diaz seems to be getting the better of the standup. Diaz swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Norvell looks to score with a jab to the body but Diaz is just out of range. Diaz has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Diaz changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Diaz throws a shot to the body.
Diaz feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Norvell's calf. A nice leg kick lands there from Diaz. Diaz blocks a jab. Diaz throws an overhand right that lands on Norvell's shoulder, as Norvell tries to avoid the shot. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Diaz lands a lovely overhand right. Norvell takes a body punch but keeps moving. A decent looking cross lands there for Diaz. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Diaz throws a big shot that misses. Norvell attempts a counter takedown but Diaz avoids it well and moves away.
That's one minute gone in the round. An inside leg kick lands from Diaz. We've been told by Norvell's head coaches at Warrior Dogs that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. A big left from Diaz misses. Norvell tries to counter with a takedown but Diaz is quick to defend against it. Norvell misses with an uppercut. Diaz saw that one coming. Diaz jabbing away but nothing is landing. Diaz uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Norvell.

Nice defenses there by Diaz. Diaz keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Norvell. Diaz throws a right hand that Norvell ducks under and follows up with a left that Norvell also avoids with ease. Norvell attempts a counter takedown but Diaz avoids it well and moves away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Norvell shoots in and bounces Diaz off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Norvell chips away with some ground and pound. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Diaz looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Diaz looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Norvell is defending well. Diaz quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Norvell has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Diaz celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
