Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tatum Gizzards (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Muleke Doido (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tatum Gizzards!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Muleke Doido!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Alan Glass and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gizzards gets the takedown into side control.
Gizzards is looking to take a break and control but Doido is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Doido can do anything to dispel that myth.
Doido wants to control but Gizzards postures up.
Gizzards wants to control but Doido is keeping him busy.
Gizzards working away.
Gizzards is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Doido will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Gizzards lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Doido really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gizzards. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Doido tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Gizzards stands up and beckons Doido to his feet.

Gizzards shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Gizzards was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Gizzards is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Doido has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Doido throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Gizzards works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Doido.
Doido shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Gizzards circles away from the clinch attempt.
Gizzards throws a low kick, looking for Doido's leg but Doido calmly moves out of range.
Horrible takedown by Gizzards or perhaps it was just good defense by Doido which made him look bad.

Doido looks to land a combination. Gizzards sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Gizzards is really struggling to control Doido but he's trying to hold on to the position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Gizzards is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Doido has managed to free his arm - good work.
Doido is looking to improve his position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Doido closes this distance looking for a takedown but Gizzards circles away.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Gizzards has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Doido can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Doido moves in looking to clinch but Gizzards pushes him off.
Doido throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Doido thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Gizzards is looking to clinch but Doido is avoiding it.
Doido keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Doido shoots for a double leg takedown but Gizzards sprawls well. He's pushed Doido's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Doido rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gizzards moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Doido's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Doido duly obliges.

Muleke Doido has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

I would just about give that final round to Muleke Doido.
Well Gizzards has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
