The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Atkins and Sam Margolis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jeferson has his takedown stuffed
and Crawford cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Crawford leaves Jeferson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Jeferson shoots for a double leg takedown but Crawford sprawls well. He's pushed Jeferson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alex Jeferson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jeferson gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Crawford counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Jeferson shoots for a double leg takedown but Crawford sprawls well. He's pushed Jeferson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Crawford throws a poor cross that misses

so Jeferson counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Jeferson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Crawford is looking to stand back up but Jeferson counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Crawford.

Jeferson drops an elbow to the side of Crawford's head.
Crawford is trying to stand up here but Jeferson is controlling him well.
Jeferson works his foot free and advances to mount.
Jeferson with shots to the head and body - Crawford looks very uncomfortable down there.

Jeferson lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

It looks like Danny Crawford has been cut.
Jeferson cracks Crawford with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!

After winning the bout, Alex Jeferson thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
In defeat, Danny Crawford stepped up to the mic, saying 'Back to back losses is harsh. I'm going to have to get back to the drawing board and see what my mistakes are.'.
