Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marcelo Aurelio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Julius Henderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Paul Tew and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aurelio connects with a single shot there.
Henderson looks to land a left hand but Aurelio moved out of range nicely.

and Aurelio counters with a nice double leg into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Henderson, as that shot connected.

That was a close round but I would say that Marcelo Aurelio will probably get the nod.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Henderson is looking for a sweep.
You can see the frustration on Henderson's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
What's Henderson going to do here then? He's in a bit of a pickle.
Aurelio postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Henderson felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Henderson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Aurelio. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
