Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Erkki Heimolainen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pasi Pulkannaru (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pulkannaru is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Judas Priest - Pain Killer. Pasi Pulkannaru has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Erkki Heimolainen's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Erkki Heimolainen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Pasi Pulkannaru! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Marco Blurström and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Heimolainen fails with a takedown attempt. Pulkannaru shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Pulkannaru throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Heimolainen walks forward, straight into a front kick from Pulkannaru. Pasi Pulkannaru seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pulkannaru closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Pulkannaru lands in his opponent's guard. Heimolainen lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Heimolainen stands and throws Pulkannaru's legs to the side, diving into side control. Heimolainen tries to move into full mount but can't pass Pulkannaru's legs. Pulkannaru wants to control but Heimolainen postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pulkannaru is being controlled here. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Pulkannaru can do anything to dispel that myth. Heimolainen is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Pulkannaru has escaped the position, nice work there. Pulkannaru is letting Heimolainen control him for a moment. Heimolainen is trying to get an arm triangle but Pulkannaru is defending well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Heimolainen controlling the position from side mount. Pulkannaru is not content to let Heimolainen control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Heimolainen tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pulkannaru wants to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Heimolainen moves into full mount! Heimolainen looking to control but Pulkannaru is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Heimolainen looking to control and managing it successfully. Heimolainen working for a submission but Pulkannaru is keeping him at bay. Heimolainen can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Pulkannaru is looking to escape. Pulkannaru wants to control but Heimolainen is having none of it. Pulkannaru really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Heimolainen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Erkki Heimolainen dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

It looked like Heimolainen was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Pulkannaru. Pulkannaru changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Heimolainen looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Heimolainen is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Pulkannaru can do to turn this around? Pulkannaru lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Heimolainen down.

Heimolainen is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Pulkannaru's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Pulkannaru's back! Heimolainen is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Pulkannaru has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Heimolainen has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Pulkannaru taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Heimolainen doesn't care though - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Erkki Heimolainen! Pasi Pulkannaru was interviewed post fight and said 'Dang, the fattest dude won this time'.
