Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Peter Knapp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chase Utley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Knapp comes to the cage accompanied by Go to Sleep. Utley is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Paramore - Ignorance. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knapp lands a head shot.
Utley displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Knapp throws out the jab.
Knapp sets himself, and Utley steps forward looking for the clinch! Knapp avoids it this time.
Utley shoots in but no luck this time.
Knapp throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Knapp scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Utley shoots in for a takedown but Knapp shows good takedown defense.
Knapp tries to clinch but Utley moves out of range.
Utley changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Knapp drops his shoulder and cracks Utley with a huge uppercut! Utley goes down! Can Knapp finish him?
Utley is rocked!
It looks like Chase Utley has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Utley is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Utley is still in real trouble! Can Knapp finish him?
Utley is pulling down on Knapp's head to control his posture.
Utley is working an open guard so Knapp takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Utley seems to have recovered his senses.
Utley gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Knapp gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Utley is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Peter Knapp!
Peter Knapp was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
