Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Viktor Nova (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Hunter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tommy Hunter!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, David Schapiro and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nova ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hunter moves away.
Nova ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Nova throws a hook but Hunter blocks it.
Hunter steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Nova.
Hunter looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Nova dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Hunter tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Nova defends well and Hunter ends up having to push Nova into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Nova half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Nova closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Hunter to the mat! Hunter manages to get full guard.
Nova is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Hunter controls Nova momentarily but Nova frees himself.
Nova content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Nova has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Nova seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Hunter for as long as he can get away with.

Nova drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Nova jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Hunter is trying to control the position but Nova postures up.

Nova is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Nova dips to his left and cracks Hunter with an uppercut!

It looks like Tommy Hunter has been cut.
Hunter doesn't manage to clinch there - Nova circles away.
Nova throws a right and a left that both miss.
Hunter looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Nova is fending him off so far but Hunter persists. Nope, Nova circles away and we're back to standing.
Tommy Hunter is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Hunter looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Nova throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Hunter stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A decent looking cross lands there for Nova.
Hunter takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Nova slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Hunter is rocked!
We've been informed that Hunter has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Nova stands up over Hunter, holding on to his feet. Nova throws the legs to one side and dives in with a huge shot that lands flush on the chin! Hunter is out cold! Nova lands a couple more shots and the ref tackles him out of the way! What a brutal finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:32 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Viktor Nova!
Viktor Nova tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
