Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chris Punter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Raynalds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Raynalds is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Survival. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Punter's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Punter duly obliges.
Punter closes the distance and pushes Raynalds back into the cage.
Nice body punch from Punter - that landed with a thud.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Punter.
Punter controlling the action here for a moment.
Raynalds misses with the head strike.
A head punch on the inside from Raynalds fails to land.
Punter lands a body punch.

Punter is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Raynalds can't fight it off and eventually Punter manages to take the fight to the floor. Raynalds looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Raynalds really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Punter. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Raynalds has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Punter can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Punter has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Punter is working Raynalds over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Punter cracks Raynalds with a solid left hand.
Punter pushes down on Raynalds's leg and manages to get into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Punter is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Raynalds is hurt! He's hurt bad - Punter fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Raynalds from any more punishment! Congratulations to Punter! Great finish!
