The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
George tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Wilkins paws at him with a jab and circles away.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Wilkins stalling in the clinch but George improves position.
Wilkins tries to pull guard but George forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
George working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Wilkins tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. George just stands there and leans against the cage.

Wilkins breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Wilkins throws a head kick that misses.
Wilkins misses with an uppercut

and George counters with a takedown into side control.
Wilkins throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land.

George stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Wilkins is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Wilkins scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Wilkins fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Clifford George has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Liam Wilkins.
