Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rocco Roman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Litoris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rocco Roman has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Paulsen Ambrosius and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roman has a takedown stuffed.
Litoris lands with an overhand left.
A big right from Roman misses.
Litoris bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Litoris looks like he wants to counter punch here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Roman throws a hook but Litoris blocks it.
Roman connects with a looping right hand.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Litoris ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Roman moves away.
Roman cracks Litoris with a good jab.

Litoris dips to his left and cracks Roman with an uppercut!

We've been informed that Litoris has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Roman's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Roman tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Litoris just stands there and leans against the cage.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Roman.

A left hand lands to the body for Roman.
Roman jumps guard but Litoris stands there with Roman around his waist. Roman gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Roman tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Litoris smiles and moves away.
Roman shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Litoris as he jumps to the side.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Litoris lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
The fight stays on the outside here - Litoris looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Roman moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Litoris moves away from the strike by Roman.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Roman loads up on a big right hand but Litoris slips the punch.
Litoris displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Roman throws out the jab.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Mike Litoris will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Roman throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Litoris sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Litoris throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Litoris throws a hook to the side of Roman's head but Roman sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Roman will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Despite the aggression on Litoris's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Litoris thuds a left hand into Roman's body.
Litoris closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Roman quickly recovers to half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Litoris seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Roman does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Roman is looking to improve his position.
Litoris content to control rather than advance.

Litoris slows the pace down in half guard.
Litoris passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Roman!
Roman is working to get back to half guard.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Roman tries to reverse the position but Litoris maintains control.
Litoris can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Roman is looking to escape.

Roman is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Roman working to try and regain half guard.
Roman is working hard here to advance position.
Litoris controlling the pace for now.
Let's hope that Litoris has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Roman tries to hold on but Litoris postures up.
Roman might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Roman is desperately trying to improve his position but Litoris has a good base and remains in mount.
Roman is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Litoris wants to control the pace but Roman is squirming around nicely.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Mike Litoris showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Litoris throws out a counter right but Roman avoids it with no problem.
Roman lands with a hook. Litoris tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

We've been hearing good reports from Roman's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

I would just about give that final round to Mike Litoris.
I've got Litoris winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
