Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Diego Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Weidman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sanchez comes to the cage accompanied by Not Afraid - Eminen. Diego Sanchez could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Chris Weidman's chin.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Chris Weidman! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Atkins and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sanchez closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Weidman's guard. Weidman wants to sweep here but Sanchez controlling him for the moment. Sanchez is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Sanchez trying to stand up but can't free himself from Weidman's guard. Weidman keeping moving, preventing Sanchez from controlling successfully. Sanchez has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Weidman tries to land a sweep but no joy. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sanchez wants to control from the top but Weidman keeps moving. Sanchez forces his way into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Weidman is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Sanchez's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Sanchez's back! Weidman just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Weidman tries to get the hooks in deep but Sanchez pushed the leg off. Sanchez wants to get back to his feet. Weidman is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sanchez is trying to break free.
Weidman controls the position. Weidman not allowing Sanchez to control his hands. Sanchez is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Weidman is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Weidman has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Sanchez's body.
Sanchez rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sanchez is staying active underneath Weidman, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Sanchez looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Sanchez might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Weidman is looking to pass Sanchez's guard but actually Sanchez recovers to full guard. Sanchez has an active guard here but Weidman has managed to pass into half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Weidman works his way into full mount! Sanchez really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Sanchez tries to lock up and control but Weidman gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Sanchez is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Weidman really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sanchez. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Weidman can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Sanchez is looking to escape. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sanchez closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Sanchez lands in his opponent's guard. Weidman working a defensive guard but Sanchez manages to pass into side control anyway.
Weidman is trying to control Sanchez's posture but Sanchez avoids it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Weidman might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Sanchez haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Sanchez seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Weidman does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Sanchez tries to pass to full mount but Weidman defends it. Sanchez is working for a kimura but Weidman is defending it quite comfortably.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Sanchez passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Weidman! Sanchez fails to take his opponent's back. Sanchez is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Weidman can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Weidman wants to get back to full guard. Sanchez seems to be working for a kimura but Weidman defends the submission attempt. Weidman is trying to get back to full guard. Weidman is pressing down on Sanchez's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Sanchez wanted to stand there but Weidman had control of the position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Weidman wants to control but Sanchez passes easily into half guard.

Diego Sanchez dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Sanchez manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Weidman on his heels. He'll look to pass Weidman's guard now, I'm sure. Weidman pulls Sanchez in to control the position. Weidman is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Sanchez wants to stand but Weidman has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Weidman throws his legs up looking for a submission but Sanchez uses it to pass to side control.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Weidman can do anything to dispel that myth. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sanchez is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Weidman is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Weidman is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Weidman is looking to regain half guard here but Sanchez keeps moving and retains side control. Weidman is trying to control Sanchez's posture but Sanchez avoids it. Sanchez trying to control the action but Weidman is working from the bottom. Sanchez is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Weidman has escaped the position, nice work there.

Sanchez trying to control the action but Weidman is working from the bottom. Weidman looks calm but he's in trouble here. Sanchez gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Weidman is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Sanchez lets go of the hold and Weidman can pop his arm back in it's socket.

A relieved looking Diego Sanchez thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
