Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rafael Tran!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mike Hunter!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and .




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tran slips under a jab from Hunter.
Hunter keeps the fight on the outside.
As Tran backs off Hunter throws a huge counter combo but Tran manages to avoid it all.
Hunter lands with a thumping leg kick.
A head kick misses from Hunter.
Hunter tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Tran tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Hunter manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
The fight stays on the outside here - Tran looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hunter keeps the fight on the outside.
Hunter tries a quick counter leg kick but Tran is wise to it.
Tran moves out of range of the strikes.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hunter throws a looping overhand right but Tran ducks down to avoid it.
Tran takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Tran shoots in for a takedown but Hunter shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Tran blocks a head kick by Hunter.
Tran tries to clinch up.
Hunter pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Tran tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Tran blocks a head kick by Hunter.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Tran avoids the head kick by Hunter.
Tran throws a big counter combination but Hunter scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Hunter throws a head kick but Tran moves out of range.
A little feinted left hand from Tran on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Hunter lands a big head kick that sends Tran tumbling to the mat! Hunter takes a step backwards and waves Tran back to his feet - he wants the finish!


Tran is rocked!


It looks like Rafael Tran has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A head kick misses from Hunter.
Oh Tran is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hunter tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Hunter throws a head kick but Tran moves out of range.
It looked like Tran was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Hunter seems to be stalking Tran here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastatic head kick! Tran drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Mike Hunter!
