Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ueki Boku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marco Pollo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pollo has chosen Feel the boom as his entrance music. Ueki Boku has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ueki Boku! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Marco Pollo! The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Colin Fray and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boku walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Pollo misses with a series of wild punches.
Good standup being displayed there by Pollo as he connects with a hook. Boku darts in looking for a takedown but Pollo gets double underhooks and turns Boku into the cage. Pollo rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Boku moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Pollo fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Pollo tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Boku was well out of range. Poor timing from Pollo. Pollo takes a swing at Boku's ribcage but misses. Boku fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. A countering left hand to the body from Pollo misses. Boku scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Boku wants to work for an arm triangle but Pollo is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Boku seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Boku is working for a kimura but Pollo is defending it quite comfortably.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pollo wants to control but Boku is keeping busy.
Pollo looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Pollo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Boku. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Pollo is looking to improve his position.
Boku is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Pollo has managed to free his arm - good work.

Pollo tries to kick Boku off but Boku keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Boku not doing much here.
