Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jay Lord (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jessup Pike (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Jessup Pike!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Ackerman and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pike fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Lord.
Lord pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Lord tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Pike swivels and escapes.
Nice takedown defense from Pike. No joy for Lord on that attempt.
Pike moves into the clinch successfully.
Good body shot from Pike.
Pike lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.

Lord is breathing heavily.
Pike has hold of one of Lord's legs. Lord is fighting the takedown attempt but Pike gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Pike makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Lord can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Pike controls the pace.

Pike slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pike trying to control but Lord is working from the bottom.

Lord is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Pike postures up and lands a big shot to Lord's brow.
Lord controls Pike momentarily but Pike frees himself.
Lord looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Pike scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Lord looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Lord working for submissions but it's allowed Pike to get to half guard.

Lord is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Pike seems to be looking for submissions.
Pike looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Lord is staying active underneath Pike, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Pike is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Pike lands a nice shot to the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jessup Pike dominated that round.
That's time! Lord's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Pike fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Lord, pushing him back against the cage.
Pike on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Lord throws a knee to the head but misses.
Lord trying to stall but Pike improves his position.

Lord drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Pike gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Pike is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Lord pulls him back up using the underhooks.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pike keeps control of Lord as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Lord prevents a takedown attempt there.

Pike misses with a body punch.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Pike manages to break the clinch.
Pike circles away from the clinch attempt
and Pike counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Lord's guard now.
Pike is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Lord has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Pike is looking to defend but Lord has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Pike! Lord pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Pike taps out and this one is all over!
