Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Johanna Lukiainen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Melton shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Ribic napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Melton is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Ribic has escaped the position, nice work there.
Ribic is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Ribic trying to remain calm as Melton controls from the top position.
Melton decides to stand back up. Melton steps back and let's Ribic get back to his feet.
Melton drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Melton decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Ribic, up you get!

Melton moves into range and clinches up with Ribic.
Melton drags the fight down to the ground.
Melton had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Ribic defends it easily.
Melton pulls Ribic in close to his closed guard and prevents Ribic from doing any damage or advancing position.
Melton's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

If it seems like I'm not saying a lot, it's just because Melton is stinking the place up with his stalling.

Melton looking for a guillotine here but Ribic defends easily.
Melton has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Ribic wants to get up but he can't break Melton's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Melton has control of Ribic's left arm, preventing Ribic from doing any damage.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Ribic is sitting in close to Melton's body. Melton has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Ribic is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Ribic is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Melton.
