Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daniel MacKinnon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and dylan Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Daniel MacKinnon is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Diaz is looking to clinch but MacKinnon is avoiding it.
Diaz gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. MacKinnon turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Diaz tries to improve position but can't. MacKinnon looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Diaz is looking for a sweep. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Diaz can do anything to dispel that myth. Diaz pushes MacKinnon away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, MacKinnon gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Diaz prevents MacKinnon from moving into mount. Diaz tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but MacKinnon wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. MacKinnon throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Diaz. Diaz motions for MacKinnon to come forward. Diaz throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Diaz drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. MacKinnon will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's one minute gone in the round. Diaz is looking to take this fight into the clinch. MacKinnon lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

It looks like dylan Diaz has been cut. Diaz tries to keep at a distance but MacKinnon has taken the fight into the clinch. MacKinnon manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Diaz content to stall in guard here. MacKinnon escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Diaz gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. MacKinnon looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Diaz trying to control but MacKinnon is working from the bottom. MacKinnon wants to sweep here but Diaz controlling him for the moment. MacKinnon has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Diaz can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. MacKinnon is breathing heavily. Diaz looking to control the position here, rather than advance. MacKinnon had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Diaz is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. MacKinnon Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Diaz's back instead.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Diaz is trying to get back to his feet but MacKinnon has full control of the position and if anything, Diaz has just worked his way into a worse spot. MacKinnon misses with punches from the back. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. You can see the frustration on Diaz's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
MacKinnon working for the choke. MacKinnon is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Diaz has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. Diaz can't escape the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Diaz defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.
Diaz trying to control the action but MacKinnon just sinks the hooks in. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. MacKinnon patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? Diaz is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Even with his hooks in, MacKinnon manages to miss with strikes from the back. MacKinnon tightening his grip on Diaz, looking for the choke. MacKinnon doesn't have the hooks in and Diaz manages to turn into his guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Daniel MacKinnon dominated that round. The cut man is working on dylan Diaz's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Diaz scores with a takedown into MacKinnon's guard. Diaz looking to sit in guard and control but MacKinnon gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. MacKinnon wants to control from the top but Diaz keeps moving. Diaz is trying to control the position but MacKinnon postures up. Diaz really doesn't want to stay on the ground with MacKinnon. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. MacKinnon throwing strikes but missing. MacKinnon in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Diaz wants to improve his position but instead MacKinnon has moved into half guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Diaz scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. MacKinnon stops Diaz from passing to mount. Diaz wants to lay and pray for a moment but MacKinnon keeps working. MacKinnon gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. MacKinnon moves into full guard.
MacKinnon pulls Diaz in close to prevent any damage.

He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. MacKinnon lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Diaz! Diaz is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
MacKinnon wants to control the pace but Diaz is squirming around nicely. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
MacKinnon throws a one two combo.
MacKinnon chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Diaz can pounce on him.
Diaz wants to clinch but MacKinnon slips to the side and MacKinnon counters with a single leg into guard. Diaz didn't expect that. MacKinnon postures up in Diaz's guard and throws a big left but Diaz blocks it. Diaz working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from MacKinnon. Diaz is looking to stand up but MacKinnon isn't so interested in that idea. MacKinnon trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Diaz is trying to keep MacKinnon in close.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. MacKinnon with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Diaz has control of MacKinnon's left arm, preventing MacKinnon from doing any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. MacKinnon is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Diaz is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst MacKinnon is controlling him. MacKinnon drops back looking for a leg! Diaz is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Diaz manages to kick MacKinnon off! MacKinnon jumps back into Diaz's guard. MacKinnon scoring with punches to the head and body. MacKinnon thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Diaz looking to control.
MacKinnon postures up in Diaz's guard and throws a big left but Diaz blocks it.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Diaz.
Diaz bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. MacKinnon tries to improve position but can't. MacKinnon regains half guard there - taking advantage of Diaz's attempt to lay and pray for a moment. MacKinnon slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. MacKinnon looking for a guillotine here but Diaz defends easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Diaz stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. MacKinnon swivels though and keeps the full guard. MacKinnon manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
MacKinnon scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Diaz can't escape the position.
Diaz throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing. MacKinnon can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Diaz is looking to escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. MacKinnon landing punches. Diaz has given up his back here. Will MacKinnon look for the submission or keep pounding away?

MacKinnon is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Diaz has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but MacKinnon has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Diaz taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. MacKinnon doesn't care though - he's delighted!
