Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jilly Bean McQueen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Johnny Bravo!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Dirk Anderson and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McQueen throws an overhand right that lands on Bravo's shoulder, as Bravo tries to avoid the shot.
And Bravo tries to counter it with a takedown but McQueen pushes his down on his head and steps out.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Bravo has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Bravo shoots in looking for a takedown. McQueen tries to sprawl out of it but Bravo keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. McQueen manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
McQueen throws an overhand right that lands on Bravo's shoulder, as Bravo tries to avoid the shot.
Bravo fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
McQueen has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Bravo on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
McQueen lands a nice hook to Bravo's body. Bravo takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
McQueen looks to score with a jab to the body but Bravo is just out of range.
McQueen darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Bravo closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Bravo tries to free his leg and advance position but McQueen is retaining full guard.

McQueen trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Bravo trying to control the position from guard on top but McQueen is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
McQueen working for submissions but it's allowed Bravo to get to half guard.
Bravo is working for a submission of some sort.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Bravo is looking to take a break and control but McQueen is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
McQueen is trying to maintain the position but Bravo is very close to passing his half guard.
McQueen is looking for a sweep. Bravo is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McQueen is working hard here to advance position.
Bravo slows the pace down in half guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Bravo wants to control but McQueen is keeping him busy.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Bravo is trying hard to land a takedown here. McQueen sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

McQueen wants to free his trapped foot but Bravo is holding on for dear life with his legs.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

McQueen passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Bravo!
Bravo is squirming around, avoiding McQueen's attempts to control the action.

Bravo changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Bravo bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

McQueen dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Bravo. That did some damage!
Bravo is still on wobbly legs! Can McQueen finish him?
McQueen shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Bravo takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - McQueen sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Bravo bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!
