The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Suhonen throws a right hand that Palmer ducks under and follows up with a left that Palmer also avoids with ease.
Suhonen misses the jab.
Suhonen shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Palmer looks to land a combination but Suhonen avoids it well.
Suhonen shoots in and drives through. Palmer sprawls well.
Suhonen fails with a takedown attempt.

Palmer cracks Suhonen with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Palmer has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Suhonen to stand back up!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Palmer sends Suhonen crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Palmer is motioning to the referee to let Suhonen up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Oh Suhonen is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Palmer looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Palmer backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Suhonen's temple! It sends Suhonen violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Palmer celebrates and the doctors try to help Suhonen!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Flying Knee). Chris Palmer!
As Chris Palmer got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: Stop wasting my time with these scrubs and give me Khanom Tom. It's about time he takes the loss he rightfully deserved once already. '.
