The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miller fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Vader manages to avoid it.
Miller has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Miller tries to clinch but Vader is having none of it.
Miller moves in looking to clinch but Vader pushes him off.
Vader appears to be looking for a big counter.
Vader slaps away a takedown attempt from Miller, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Miller misses with a right hand

and Vader moves into the clinch.
Miller is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Vader to keep the fight standing.
Miller misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Vader.

Darth Vader has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Braxton Miller.

Vader goes for a takedown attempt but Miller pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Miller shoots in and drives through. Vader sprawls well.

Vader will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Miller is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.

and Vader counters by clinching up.

Vader goes for a takedown attempt but Miller pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Miller has Vader up against the cage in a clinch.
Miller tries to pull guard but Vader won't allow it.
Miller's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Miller jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Vader walks away with a smile on his face. Miller gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Miller gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Vader to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Vader postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Miller looks winded!

Vader is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Vader passes Miller's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Vader is nestled in close to Miller, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Vader looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Vader lands a nice short elbow.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Miller is trying to stand back up but Vader is controlling him

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Vader.

Miller tries to lock up and control but Vader gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Vader has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Miller's face.

It looks like Braxton Miller has been cut.

Miller is rocked!

That has opened up Braxton Miller's cut even more.
Miller is breathing heavily.
Vader softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Miller is out cold! Vader jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!
