Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Haziq Sawaludin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Haziq Sawaludin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bruce Lee!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Alan Glass and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sawaludin rushes Lee and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Sawaludin throws a knee to the head but misses.
Sawaludin blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Sawaludin pulls guard effortlessly.
Sawaludin working a defensive guard here.

Sawaludin has his foot on Lee's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Lee works his way back into a safe position though.
Lee tries to stand but Sawaludin is controlling from the bottom.

Sawaludin manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
Sawaludin lands an elbow inside that Lee shrugs off.
Lee tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Sawaludin is looking for a takedown.
Sawaludin tries to pull guard but Lee won't allow it.
Sawaludin stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

Sawaludin manages to break the clinch.
Lee shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sawaludin but Sawaludin pushes him off and we're back to square one.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Sawaludin shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Lee defends it nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Haziq Sawaludin. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Sawaludin is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Lee's half guard.
Lee looks like he's trying to stand up.

Lee kicks Sawaludin off and gets back to his feet.
Sawaludin's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Sawaludin duly obliges.
Sawaludin fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Lee.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Sawaludin.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sawaludin fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lee lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Sawaludin backs up against the cage.
Sawaludin tries to score a power double leg takedown but Lee sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Sawaludin somewhat.
Lee tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Sawaludin is breathing heavily.

Lee bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Sawaludin is not content to let Lee control the position.
Lee creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Lee stands up.
Sawaludin moves in looking to clinch but Lee pushes him off.
Sawaludin tries to close the distance and clinch but Lee swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Sawaludin dives in and grabs Lee's left leg, looking for a takedown. Lee pushes down on Sawaludin's head and hops out.
Sawaludin fails with an attempt to clinch.
Despite the aggression on Lee's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
A head kick misses from Lee.

Lee gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Lee on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Lee lands with a short head shot on the inside.

Sawaludin escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Lee tries to clinch but Sawaludin moves out of range.

Sawaludin closes the distance and pushes Lee back into the cage.
Lee fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Sawaludin is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Sawaludin misses with an elbow over the top.

Sawaludin jumps into guard, dragging Lee to the mat.
Sawaludin preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Lee decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Sawaludin, up you get!
Nice sprawl there from Lee as Sawaludin shoots in.
Sawaludin tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lee swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Lee is looking for the big counter here.
Lee dives in for a single leg takedown but Sawaludin sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Sawaludin throws a counter high kick but Lee was just alert enough to avoid it.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lee tries a head kick but it misses.
Lee throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A nice combination there by Lee.
Sawaludin tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lee swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Sawaludin lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Sawaludin.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Bruce Lee will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

and Lee counters with a nice uppercut.
Sawaludin shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Sawaludin drives through and clinches with Lee against the cage.
Lee misses with some punches.
Sawaludin misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Lee.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
A short right from Sawaludin.
Sawaludin lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Lee backwards.
Sawaludin effectively controlling the action here.
Lee is looking to break free of the clinch but Sawaludin has double underhooks.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sawaludin's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Haziq Sawaludin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A combination from Lee does no damage.
Lee slaps away a takedown attempt from Sawaludin, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Haziq Sawaludin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lee throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Sawaludin throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lee's waist but Lee gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sawaludin off to one side.
Lee lands a hook that stumbles Sawaludin back into the cage. Lee follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Sawaludin to the canvas! Lee pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Sawaludin has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Bruce Lee!
