The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holmes has Boro up against the cage in a clinch.
Boro wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Boro is pressed up against the cage. Holmes has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Boro down to the mat. Boro avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Holmes doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Boro counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Holmes misses with a takedown
and Boro counters with a nice right hand that sends Holmes toppling to the canvas! Holmes scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Boro finish him?!
Holmes is rocked!
Spark Boro has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jon Holmes.

Spark Boro really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Technique MMA logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
