Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Silas Storm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Elbrys Gora (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gora comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Cadillac Records - Howlin' Wolf Sings kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

With a record of 23 - 14 - 0, fighting out of London, Elbrys Gora!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Paul Tew and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Storm takes a swing at Gora's ribcage but misses.
Storm throws a chopping leg kick but Gora manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Storm's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Gora connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Storm scrambles back to his feet.
Storm connects with a leg kick. Gora looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Gora lands with a shot to the body.

Gora takes a swing at Storm's ribcage but misses.
Gora doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Storm closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Gora to the mat! Gora manages to get full guard.

Storm is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Gora fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Storm to the ground. Gora is now in Storm's guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Gora ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Gora takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Gora tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

That was a close second round but I would say that Silas Storm will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Gora accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Well Storm has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
