Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Darby Gordon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gordon comes to the ring accompanied by United Booty Foundation. Penn has chosen Everything in its right place as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Jeff Smith and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gordon throws a hook but Penn blocks it.
Nice shot lands for Gordon.
It looks like James Penn has been cut.
Gordon drops Penn with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Penn looks back up at him and smiles so Gordon waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Penn is rocked!
Penn blocks a leg kick.
Penn is still on wobbly legs! Can Gordon finish him?
Gordon takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Penn's coach down at Strong like Butterfly was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Penn's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Darby Gordon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Penn takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Gordon fails to land with a series of punches.
Penn was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Penn seems to have recovered his senses.
Penn scores with a push kick.
A nice leg kick lands there from Gordon.
Gordon slips a straight right by Penn.
Gordon throws a leg kick but Penn checks it.
Gordon moves out of range of the strikes.
Penn throws a poor cross that misses
and Gordon counters with a crisp right hand that drops Penn! Gordon lets Penn back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Gordon has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Gordon there as he acknowledges the shot.
Gordon lands a right hook to the body.
Gordon attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Gordon throws a series of punches but Penn avoids them all with ease.
Gordon scores with the left hand. Penn knows he should have avoided that one.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Gordon cracks Penn on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Penn falls backwards against the ropes. Gordon follows up with more strikes that drop Penn to his knees. Gordon keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Penn! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Darby Gordon!
