Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bryan Habana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Mayhem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mayhem comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Bullet With A Name by Nonpoint kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Man, I cannot wait for this one!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Josh West, Micheangelo Fripello and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mayhem wants to slow Habana down by chopping away at his legs.
Mayhem scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Mayhem connects with a leg kick. Habana looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Mayhem scores with a head kick. Habana tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Habana misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Mayhem was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Mayhem uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Mayhem pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Mayhem stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Habana.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Habana.
Good work by Mayhem as he checks the leg kick.
Habana throws a quick inside leg kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A big right from Mayhem misses.
Mayhem chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Habana can pounce on him.
Habana bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Habana moves away from the strike by Mayhem.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Mayhem works Habana's body with a nice hook.

We've been told by Habana's head coaches at Brown House that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Mayhem rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Habana counters with an outside leg kick.
Mayhem drops Habana with a beautiful combination! Habana stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Mayhem is looking for the KO!
Habana is rocked!
Bryan Habana seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mayhem moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Oh Habana is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Habana throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Mayhem sees it coming and avoids it easily.
The fighters circle, before Mayhem throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Habana's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Mayhem lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). John Mayhem! John Mayhem retains his middleweight title!
