Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jarek Mace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Idriz Enveri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Jarek Mace has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jarek Mace! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Idriz Enveri! The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Michael Johnstone and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Enveri has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. We've been told by Mace's head coaches at Elorde MMA (ELITE LEVEL TRAINING W/ ELITE COACHES) that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Enveri ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Mace moves away. Mace lands with a cross. Jarek Mace seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Enveri avoids a lazy jab quite easily. A shot to the liver by Mace. Beautiful body shot. Enveri's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Mace connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Enveri scrambles back to his feet. Mace pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Enveri back to the cage. Mace follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Mace throws a jab when Enveri was well out of range. Enveri with the counter takedown but Mace avoids it easily. Enveri displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Mace throws out the jab. A little jabbing left from Enveri on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Mace throws a lazy body kick and Enveri decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Mace's guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Enveri throwing strikes but missing. Enveri drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Enveri jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Enveri throwing strikes from guard but Mace blocks nicely.

Mace looking to sweep here. No luck so far. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mace looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Mace trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Enveri would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Mace wants to sweep here but Enveri controlling him for the moment.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Enveri on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Mace. Mace obviously looking to wear him down.
Mace looks to land a left hand but Enveri moved out of range nicely. Mace feints a jab promting Enveri to slip. Mace then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Enveri slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Enveri takes a kick to the side of the head. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Mace.
Jarek Mace is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Mace lands a leg kick that knocks Enveri off balance momentarily. Enveri moves out of range as Mace strikes. Enveri looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Enveri keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Mace dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Enveri. That did some damage! Mace cracks Enveri with a right hand to the side of the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A jab from Mace misses. Mace fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Enveri shoots in looking for a takedown but Mace manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Enveri's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Mace looks for the body kick but Enveri saw that one coming. Enveri tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Mace feints and then cracks Enveri's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Enveri down. Mace will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Enveri takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Mace takes a swing at Enveri's ribcage but misses. Good exchange - Mace coming out on top. Enveri has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Mace finds it's way round the side to connect with Enveri's head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Enveri clinches up against the cage. Mace breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Mace scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Mace missing with a left hand there. Enveri was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Enveri steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Mace. Mace's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Mace duly obliges. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Mace pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Mace misses with a straight left. Mace changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Mace misses with a body shot
and Enveri makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Enveri misses with a two punch combination.

Enveri swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jarek Mace dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Enveri misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. That kick from Mace tenderised Enveri's leg. Enveri is trying to keep his angry face on. Mace feints and then cracks Enveri's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Enveri down. Mace is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Enveri can do to turn this around? Mace ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Enveri moves away. Mace fails to land with a series of punches.
Enveri is looking for the big counter here. Enveri throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mace's waist but Mace gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Enveri off to one side. Mace throwing a counter right hand but Enveri manages to avoid it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Enveri fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Mace avoids it really well and circles away. Jarek Mace has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Idriz Enveri. Mace lands with a hook. Enveri tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
That's one minute gone in the round. A slapping leg kick lands for Mace.
Mace looks to land a combination but Enveri avoids it well. Mace wants to land a leg kick but Enveri is out of range. Enveri takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Mace scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Enveri's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Enveri throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Mace swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Enveri. Mace is looking to chop away at Enveri's legs. Enveri has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Mace finds it's way round the side to connect with Enveri's head.

Mace walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Enveri checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Mace lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Enveri tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mace sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Enveri somewhat. A quick step to the side and Mace tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Mace!
This has been an exciting period of action! Mace lands a glancing blow to the side of Enveri's head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mace throws a push kick but Enveri slaps the foot to one side. Mace throws a one two combo.
A decent looking cross lands there for Mace. No luck with that takedown attempt from Enveri. Mace throws a quick counter head kick but Enveri was just out of range. Enveri is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Mace. Mace scores with a jab. Mace lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Jarek Mace is winning the standup battle so far. Mace throws a quick inside leg kick. Mace wants to land a leg kick but Enveri is out of range.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mace throws a nice outside leg kick. Mace swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Enveri. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Mace swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Mace connects with a body shot that sends Enveri's belly button to the back. Mace fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Mace throws a shot to the body.
Mace defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Enveri. Mace checks a leg kick nicely. Mace lands with a right hand. Mace stalks Enveri and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Enveri's face. Enveri staggers backwards, shaken. Mace lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jarek Mace dominated that second round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Mace throws a sloppy head kick and Enveri moves out of range easily. Enveri is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Enveri has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Enveri looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Mace throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Mace connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. A punch combination from Mace misses. Mace throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Jarek Mace is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Mace lands a nice looking body shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mace leaves Enveri with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Mace throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mace cracks Enveri with a good jab. Mace lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Mace misses with a leg kick and Enveri counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Enveri. Mace looking for a guillotine here but Enveri defends easily.
Enveri postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Mace is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Enveri, into his guard. Mace controlling from the top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mace stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Enveri swivels though and keeps the full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Enveri trying to keep a closed guard but Mace is proving a slippery customer.
Enveri working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mace doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Mace manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Mace preventing the sweep. Idriz Enveri has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Enveri looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Mace's corner is telling him to maintain position. Mace pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Enveri is keeping the position for now. Enveri trying to keep a closed guard but Mace is proving a slippery customer.
Enveri trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Enveri looking for a sweep. Not yet Enveri, not yet. Mace has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Enveri working a defensive guard but Mace manages to pass into side control anyway.
Mace knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Enveri on the ground.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mace wants to lay and pray for a moment but Enveri keeps working. Enveri stops Mace from passing to mount. You can see the frustration on Enveri's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Mace working the ground and pound. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Mace sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Enveri is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Mace landing a few strikes. Jarek Mace is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Enveri prevents Mace from moving into mount.
And that's the end of the fight! Jarek Mace showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Mace, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
