Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Steven Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mattias Goransson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Steven Morgan has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Steven Morgan seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morgan looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Goransson tries to counter with a clinch but Morgan shakes him off and moves away.

Goransson moves into the clinch.

Goransson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Morgan shoots in looking for a takedown but Goransson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Morgan's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Morgan fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Steven Morgan. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Goransson has managed to clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Goransson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Goransson has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Morgan is trying to keep an underhook but Goransson manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Goransson wants to pass the guard but Morgan is defending well.

Goransson has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Morgan defend it? Goransson steps over the head and cranks it - Morgan is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Goransson!
