Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lyman Leach (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Michael Casunuran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leach shoots for a takedown but Casunuran saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Casunuran shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Casunuran showed some decent athleticism there.
Still in half guard, Casunuran seems content to control.
Casunuran is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Casunuran seems to be looking for submissions.
Casunuran is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Leach moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Casunuran drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Casunuran jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Leach controls Casunuran momentarily but Casunuran frees himself.
Leach is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Casunuran is aware though and is defending well.
Leach has Casunuran pulled in close to control his posture.

Casunuran trying to control the position from guard on top but Leach is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Leach looking for a triangle here. Casunuran is fighting it but it looks tight! Leach pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Casunuran is tapping out - this one is all over!
