And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ryoto Sagat!
The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Seu Braga and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sagat will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Gray.
Gray shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Sagat as he avoids it easily.
Sagat staying out of range there.
Gray drops Sagat with a beautiful combination! Sagat stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Gray is looking for the KO!
Sagat is rocked!
Sagat shoots in looking for a takedown. Gray tries to sprawl out of it but Sagat keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Gray manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Sagat is still on wobbly legs! Can Gray finish him?
Gray connects with a stiff jab that staggers Sagat - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Mel Gray!
