Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Clement Ross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mad Bang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Clement Ross has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Clement Ross!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mad Bang!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Daniel Franklin and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ross shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Bang slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Bang keeping moving, preventing Ross from controlling successfully.
Bang pulls Ross in close to prevent any damage.
Ross wants to stand but Bang has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Ross really is a fat lump.
Bang seems keen to control Ross's posture.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bang keeping moving, preventing Ross from controlling successfully.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bang can do anything to dispel that myth.

Ross avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Ross throws a strike but Bang rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Bang advances to half guard.
Bang trying to control the pace.
Ross is trying to get back to full guard.
Bang thows a huge punch but Ross dodges it nicely.
Well, if Bang is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ross is defending against the submission attempts here by Bang.

Bang is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Ross doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Bang.
Bang seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Bang gets the takedown into side control.
Bang controlling the position from side mount.
Bang wants to stand but Ross is controlling his arm.
Ross might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
The referee asks Bang politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Bang prefers to stall for the moment though.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Bang trying to control the action but Ross is working from the bottom.
Bang landing strikes.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mad Bang dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!



Bang feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Bang chips away with some ground and pound.
Bang wants to get up but he can't break Ross's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Mad Bang has got the better of the ground game so far.
Bang throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Bang wants to stand but Ross has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Bang controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bang in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Bang throwing strikes from guard but Ross blocks nicely.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Bang gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
A frustrated look appears on Ross's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Ross tries to break the clinch but Bang is controlling the position.

Bang pulls guard.
Bang wants to sweep here but Ross controlling him for the moment.
Ross is looking to work some ground and pound but Bang has wrist control.
Ross with a flurry of punches that miss.
Ross is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Bang controlling Ross's posture.

Ross won't allow Bang to sweep him here.
Bang pulls Ross in to control the position.

Ross avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Ross in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Ross won't allow Bang to get back to his feet.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Bang looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Bang looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Bang tries to pass the half guard into mount. Ross knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Bang looks to land a strike but Ross avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Bang is stalling in the full guard.
Bang throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Ross escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bang gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Bang controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Bang has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Ross is proving hard to escape from.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Bang clinches.
Ross wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Bang breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Ross shoots in for a takedown but Bang shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Bang wants to counter the offense by Ross and move into the clinch position.
The fight stays on the outside here - Bang looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mad Bang showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Bang is taking a breather. Ross says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Bang scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Bang with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Let's hope that Bang has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

It looks like Clement Ross has been cut.
Bang content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Donk. Bang catches Ross right on the button with a cross.

Bang drives through with a takedown into guard.
Bang lands a couple of elbows.
Bang throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Bang with a nice head shot there.
Bang is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Ross is trying to keep Bang in close.

Mad Bang comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Bang has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
