Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Armando Conway (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gods Gift (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gods Gift!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, George Francis and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Gift with that takedown attempt.

Conway closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Gift did well to prevent Conway getting side control.
Conway seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Conway thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Gift's head.
Conway not doing much here.
Conway tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Conway prevents Gift from improving his position.

Conway slows the pace down in half guard.
Gift is staying active underneath Conway, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Conway thows a huge punch but Gift dodges it nicely.
Conway will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Gift doesn't manage to clinch there - Conway circles away.
Gift tries to close the distance and clinch but Conway swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Conway wants to clinch.
Gift keeps the fight on the outside.

Conway gets tackled into the cage by Gift. Gift maintains the clinch.
Gift has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Conway after a bit of a struggle.
Conway wants a takedown but no success here.

Gift pulls Conway into guard.
Gift wants to get back to his feet but Conway is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Conway is in close to Gift's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Conway postures up.
Conway trying to control the position from guard on top but Gift is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Gift is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Conway is controlling him.

Gift shoots in but Conway avoids the takedown attempt easily.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Gift shoots in looking for a takedown. Conway tries to sprawl out of it but Gift keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Conway manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Gift.
Gift looks winded!
Gift uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Conway.
Gift tries to close the distance and clinch but Conway swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Conway shoots in for a takedown but Gift shows good takedown defense.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Conway closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Conway is looking to take a break and control but Gift is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Gift takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nice sprawl there from Gift as Conway shoots in.
Gift looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it.
Conway just misses with a punch to the body.
Conway displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Gift.
A counter left hand to the body from Conway misses its target.
Conway is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Gift can do to turn this around?

Gift changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Conway tries to avoid it but Gift manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Conway to the ground. Conway escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Gift is breathing heavily.
Conway shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Gift as he jumps to the side.
Gift keeps the fight on the outside.
Conway scores with a jab to the body.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Gift is defended easily by Conway.

Gift looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Conway is fending him off so far but Gift persists. Nope, Conway circles away and we're back to standing.
Gift keeps the fight on the outside.
Conway tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Conway looks to score with a jab to the body but Gift is just out of range.
Conway gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Gift moves into the clinch.
Gift stalling against the cage.

Gift ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Gift no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Conway wants to control from the top but Gift keeps moving.
Conway has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Gift can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Conway controls the pace.

Conway stands and steps away. Gift gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Gift doesn't manage to clinch there - Conway circles away.
Conway tries to clinch but Gift moves out of range.
Conway is looking to wear down Gift with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Gift doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Conway counters with a nice body kick.
Gift dives in for a single leg takedown but Conway sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Gift shoots for a takedown but Conway saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Conway shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Conway was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Conway has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Gift gets caught flat footed, as Conway shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Conway postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Conway showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Gift keeping moving, preventing Conway from controlling successfully.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Conway is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Conway in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Gift has Conway pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Conway manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Conway escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Conway shoots in for a takedown but Gift shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Gods Gift is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Gift throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Gift misses with a takedown
and Conway cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Conway jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Conway, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
