Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Frank (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andre Banks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Banks has chosen Saul Williams-Black Stacey as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bruce Frank! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andre Banks! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Wesley Smith and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Banks avoids the head kick by Frank.
Frank shoots in but no luck this time. A big left from Frank misses. Banks doesn't succeed with the takedown and Frank counters with a flying knee that sends his opponent to the canvas! Frank looking to finish!
Banks is rocked! Banks looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Banks is still in real trouble! Can Frank finish him? Banks is looking for a triangle but Frank pushes his legs off easily.
Banks escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Frank gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Banks seems to have recovered his senses. Frank controls from within his opponent's guard. Frank would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Banks wants to stand up but Frank is controlling him. Frank knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Banks on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Frank tries to stand but Banks is controlling from the bottom. Banks is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Banks working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Frank doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Frank manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Banks has his foot on Frank's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Frank works his way back into a safe position though. Banks looks gassed! Frank wants to stand but Banks is controlling his posture from full guard. Frank tries to free his leg and advance position but Banks is retaining full guard. Frank would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Banks looking for a guillotine here but Frank defends easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Banks has his foot on Frank's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Frank works his way back into a safe position though. Frank stands up from Banks's guard - Frank perhaps looking for a knockout. Frank will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Frank misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Banks.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Frank is struggling to control the position. Banks drags the fight down to the ground.
Banks has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Frank can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Banks looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Banks wants to sweep here but Frank controlling him for the moment. Frank wants to control from the top but Banks keeps moving. Frank stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Banks swivels though and keeps the full guard. Frank has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Banks looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Frank stays in close to Banks's body and controls the position. Frank wants to control from the top but Banks keeps moving. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Banks working for a triangle but Frank defends it easily.

Frank has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Banks is proving hard to escape from. Banks looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Frank slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Andre Banks will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Frank lands a nice hook to Banks's body. Banks takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Banks misses with a takedown attempt and Frank counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Banks trying to get back to full guard but Frank takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount! Frank controlling the position easily from mount. Banks really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Frank controlling his opponent. Frank looking to control but Banks is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Frank is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Banks is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Bruce Frank just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Banks takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Banks shoots for a double leg takedown but Frank sprawls well. He's pushed Banks's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Frank tries a head kick but it misses.
Frank tries to clinch but Banks moves out of range. Banks checks a low kick from Frank.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Frank closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Banks to the mat! Banks manages to get full guard. Banks is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Frank stands and steps away. Banks gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Frank tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Frank wants to clinch up but Banks keeps it at a distance. Frank shoots in and drives through. Banks sprawls well. Frank stuffs the takedown attempt from Banks. Banks gets slowly back to his feet. Bruce Frank has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andre Banks. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Frank.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Frank throws a jab when Banks was well out of range. Nice sprawl there from Frank as Banks shoots in. Banks blocks a head kick by Frank.
Banks shoots and misses and Frank moves into the clinch. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Banks stops a takedown attempt from Frank.
Banks is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Frank pulls him back up using the underhooks. Banks tries for a takedown. No joy.
Frank has Banks pressed against the cage.
Frank tries to land a knee to the head but Banks blocks with his arms.
Banks stalling.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Frank has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Banks avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Banks lands a takedown into guard.
Banks drops back looking for a leg! Frank is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Frank manages to kick Banks off! Banks jumps back into Frank's guard. Frank is working an open guard so Banks takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. A right-left combo lands from Frank. Frank tries to clinch but Banks is having none of it. Banks shoots in but no luck this time. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Frank lands a high kick!
Banks lands a jab to the nose. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bruce Frank dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Frank looks to land a body kick but Banks moved away. Frank misses with a body kick. Frank fails with an attempt to clinch.
Banks tries for a takedown but Frank circles away easily and Frank counters with a flying knee. Nice. Banks shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Frank as he jumps to the side. Frank fails in his attempt to clinch. Frank tries a head kick but it misses.
Banks shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Frank pinned against the cage. Frank gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Bruce Frank has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andre Banks. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. A head kick misses from Frank. Frank throws a push kick but Banks slaps the foot to one side. Frank misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Banks gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Frank counters with a lovely straight right hand! Frank pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Banks with a poor takedown and Banks takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Horrible takedown by Frank or perhaps it was just good defense by Banks which made him look bad.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Frank tries to close the distance and clinch up but Banks swats him away and circles back towards the center. Frank pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Banks takes a swing at Frank's ribcage but misses. Banks shoots in for a takedown but Frank shows good takedown defense. Banks blocks a head kick by Frank.
A good leg kick by Frank. The fight stays on the outside here - Frank looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Banks avoids the head kick by Frank.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Banks slips a jab and a cross from Frank.
Banks closes the distance and clinches. Frank with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Banks wants the takedown. Frank is fighting it off but Banks persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Frank's guard against the cage. Banks thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Frank is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Frank wants to stand and escape but Banks is having none of it. Banks looking to pass the guard. Frank is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Banks is controlling him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Banks drops back looking for a leg! Frank is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Frank manages to kick Banks off! Banks jumps back into Frank's guard. Banks preventing the sweep.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Banks moves out of range as Frank throws a body kick.
Frank darts in trying to clinch and Banks counters with a nice double leg into guard. Frank is trying to keep Banks in close.
Banks passes into half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Andre Banks comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Banks has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
