Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Elvis Marley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Solomon Ares (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marley comes to the cage accompanied by Alborosie - Real Story. Ares has chosen Run This Town as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Elvis Marley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Solomon Ares! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Alan Glass and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ares shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Marley trying to control from the bottom.
Marley is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Ares scores with a couple of nice shots. Marley keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Ares takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Ares controlling the action here. Marley is staying active underneath Ares, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Ares takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Marley tries to get to full guard but Ares has control of the leg. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Marley is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Ares scores with a couple of nice shots. Marley is trying to maintain the position but Ares is very close to passing his half guard. Ares really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Marley. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Marley is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Ares is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Still in half guard, Ares seems content to control. Marley is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Marley is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Ares pulls his head out easily. Marley is trying to control but can't.
Ares content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Marley wants to control but Ares is keeping busy.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Ares shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Ares landing punches. Marley is in a horrible position here. Ares smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Marley is in all sorts of trouble here.
Ares tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ares loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Marley scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Ares land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Ares stands and salutes the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Solomon Ares!
